Margot Sangster is the founder and principal teacher of Full Circle Meditation. She is a graduate of the Community Dharma Leaders' Program at Spirit Rock Meditation Center, California. Margot has been teaching meditation since 1998.

Margot has lived/volunteered at Spirit Rock and Wat Kow Tahm Meditation Centre in Thailand. She has also studied at meditation centers and monasteries in Nepal, England, Vancouver, Canada, and elsewhere in the US. Margot has practiced vipassana meditation for periods up to three months.

She also completed the Buddhist Peace Fellowship BASE (Buddhist Alliance for Social Engagement) Program and the Zen Hospice Training. Margot was filmed in the episode on lovingkindness meditation that appeared in the Quiet Mind Series on Vision Network. She has also been interviewed by Shared Vision.

Margot's professional experience is diversified, and includes social services, non-formal education, and international development. She has a MA in Counselling Psychology. Margot is a graduate of Simon Fraser University (Bachelor's Degree), the British Columbia Institute of Technology (Administrative Management Diploma), and the Justice Institute (Substance Use Certificate).

Meditation has proven to be a powerful cornerstone in Margot's personal and professional life that provides meaning and freedom in the midst of a fast-paced world.
